Down South Adventures LLC is a mourning and white-wing dove hunting operation based out of D’Hanis, Texas along the famed Highway 90 corridor which is the dividing line between the Central and the Special white-wing zones. We offer hunts in both the Central and Special white-wing zones. The majority of our fields and water holes are located over a three county area that consists of Uvalde, Medina, and Zavala counties. Towns in the vicinity of our fields are Uvalde, Sabinal, Knippa, La Pryor, Batesville, Dhanis, Hondo, Leakey, and Concan, Texas.

We hunt over Black-oil sunflowers, Milo, Sesame, Corn, Wheat, Native sunflowers, Dove weed, and Water holes.
We offer Corporate, Group, Family and/or Day hunts.

No group is to big or to small.
 

Lodging, Catering, Frio River access, etc. can be arranged or recommended. Most of our lodging is out of Concan, Texas on or near the Frio river.

 

BACKGROUND Jason Schneemann, is the owner of Down South Adventures LLC. Jason, is a local boy originally from Leakey, Texas. He is an avid outdoorsman. He has been hunting and fishing his whole life. After graduating from college and living/working in the Dallas area for 5 years, he moved back with his family close to home and started an outfitting business for dove hunting in 2008. He has a wife (Kelly) and two girls (Callie) and (Camryn). Jason has worked in the farm and ranch industry for many years growing up and has relationships with the local farmers and ranchers in the surrounding counties. As a hunter himself, Jason prides himself in making sure your experience is of the utmost quality.
